Giveaway Rules & Regulations

ELIGIBILITY
The Pan Pacific Whistler Adventures Giveaway is open to legal residents of Canada, except Quebec and the territories, and WA State, US, who have reached the age of majority in their province/state of residence when they enter the Promotion. No purchase is necessary to enter or win.  Entry in this Contest constitutes acceptance of the official rules and regulations outlined below. Void where prohibited by law. No purchase is necessary to enter or win.

Employees, independent contractors, officers, and directors of Pan Pacific Whistler and its affiliates and subsidiaries and their immediate family members (spouse/domestic partner, parents, children, siblings and their respective spouses) and those living in the same household of each (whether legally related or not) are not eligible to enter or win.

ENTRY PERIOD
The Promotion begins at 6:00 am on March 4, 2024 and closes at 11:59 pm on March 15, 2024. The winner will be drawn and contacted on or before march 20, 2024.

HOW TO ENTER
No purchase is necessary. Fill out the entry form within the dates specified to be entered. If the contest is cancelled, modified, suspended or terminated, which Pan Pacific Whistler reserves the right to do at its discretion if factors beyond its control make the contest unable to be administered as planned, notice will be posted on Pan Pacific Whistler’s Twitter, Instagram and Facebook accounts, and the Contest landing page.

GRAND PRIZE
One prize package will be awarded as detailed below:

Three  nights in a spacious One Bedroom Suite at Pan Pacific Whistler Village Centre or Pan Pacific Whistler Mountainside (hotel dependant on availability over winner's chosen dates)
Complimentary valet parking for one vehicle
Two Harbour Air Spectacular Glacier Tours
Two 50-mins Massages from Whistler Day Spa
Two SUPERFLY Zipline tickets
TOTAL VALUE: $2400.

Please note the following restrictions for the prize:

The prize must be redeemed before it expires on September 30, 2024. Stay dates for redeeming the prize are between May 1, 2024, to September 30, 2024, mid-week, subject to availability. There will be no extensions for the stay dates. Blackout dates include but are not limited to all Canadian and US statutory holidays. Additional blackout dates are:
May 12th, May 16th – 20th, June 16th , June 28th – July 1st, August 2nd – 5th, August 30th – September 2nd

Pan Pacific Whistler reserves the right to choose hotel based on suite availability.

The total approximate retail value (“ARV”) for the Prize is $2399.00 in CDN Dollars as of the date of printing of these Official Rules. The difference in the value of the Prize as stated herein and the value at the time of prize notification, if any, will not be awarded.
Prizes do not include any other item or expense not specifically described in these Official Rules & Regulations, including gratuities, and all additional expenses, including, without limitation, other travel expenses, if any, are the sole responsibility of the winner. Only listed prizes will be awarded and no substitutions or cash equivalents or redemptions will be made.  The winner agrees to accept the prize “as is”, and entrants hereby acknowledge that Pan Pacific Whistler has neither made nor is in any manner responsible for liable for any warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, in fact, or in law, relative to the prize, including express warranties (if any) provided exclusively by a prize supplier that is sent along with the prize.  Prize travel is subject to space availability when booking, and minimum reservation requirements may apply. Other conditions may apply.

SELECTION OF WINNER
The winner of the Grand Prize will be selected randomly by Pan Pacific Whistler, whose decisions on all matters relating to drawing and winner are final and binding. The Grand Prize will be awarded at random from all eligible entries received. Pan Pacific Whistler reserves the right to disqualify any participant or winner and may refuse to award the prize to someone who is ineligible or has violated any rule, gained an unfair advantage in participating in the Contest or obtained winner status using fraudulent means. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. The winner will be notified via email and will be noted on the contest microsite and must meet all eligibility requirements. The winner will be required to answer a mathematical skill-testing question correctly without the benefit of any calculating devices before the prize is awarded.

Suppose the selected winner does not respond within 24 hours of notification. In that case, they will be disqualified. Another eligible entrant may be selected by random draw as a potential prize winner until an entrant satisfies the terms set out herein and the prize is awarded.

PUBLICITY, PRIVACY & PRIZE NOTIFICATION
Except where prohibited by law or regulation, by submitting an entry, the entrant grants Pan Pacific Whistler a perpetual, royalty-free license to use his/her name, photograph, voice, and likeness in connection with the promotion of this and other Sweepstakes, and entrants waive any and all claims and/or rights to receive any royalties or other compensation for Pan Pacific Whistler’s use thereof unless prohibited by law.  Entrants’ information that Pan Pacific Whistler collects will not be disclosed to third parties.

By entering this Promotion you consent to Pan Pacific Whistler’s disclosure of your Personal Information internally so that you may be contacted if you win the Giveaway. If you do not win, you will not be notified. We never sell, rent, or lease your information to a third party.

If you are opt-in to our  E-newsletters, you will always have the option of unsubscribing at any time. Pan Pacific Whistler is committed to safeguarding the confidentiality of your data. Your information will only be used to enhance your experience with us and the destination of Whistler. We will communicate with you by E-newsletter to share special offers and resort information. Your data will not be shared with third parties.

GENERAL CONDITIONS
The submission of an entry is solely the responsibility of the entrant.  Only eligible entries received within each Entry Period will be included in the prize drawings.  Pan Pacific Whistler retains the right, in its absolute and sole discretion, to make substitutions of equivalent kind or approximate value in the event of the unavailability of any prize or component of the prize for any reason whatsoever.

This contest is subject to all federal, provincial and municipal laws.

LIMITATION TO LIABILITY & RELEASE
By participating in the Pan Pacific Whistler Sweepstakes entrants agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pan Pacific Whistler, affiliates, subsidiaries, successors, assigns, agents, representatives, officers, directors, shareholders, and employees (collectively “Releases") from and against any and all injuries, losses, damages, claims, and actions of any kind arising from or relating to participation in the Contest, or acceptance, possession, use, misuse, or non-use of the prize that may be awarded, including, without limitation, actual, direct, indirect, consequential, punitive, special, or other damages.
